Ramkrishnupur union, a traditional region of Daulatpur upazila of Kushtia district, was developed on the banks of the river Bhanga. After repeated river erosion, Ramkrishnapur union has continued to play a pivotal role in its various fields, including education, culture, religious rituals and sports. The size of this union is about 12360 (acre) population - 266168 (approximately) male -13098 and female 13070 (according to the census of 2011). Ramkrishna Union consists of 21 villages, 3 mouzas, 18 government primary schools and 3 secondary schools.
